Redfish Action is on Fire!

It was hard to put down the rods and take these pictures. The reds are destroying anything in their path right now. Top waters, spinner baits, jigs just get it front of them. If you wanted to experience the hottest redfishing of the year. Give me a call, this next month is going to be awesome!

Labor Day Weekend

The storm past us by without any incident. We picked back up redfishing. The bite was a little off due to the storm, but we did catch some nice upper to over slot reds over the weekend. September should be a great month, with all the bait in the water the redfish action is going to be hot. I have a few dates open between two redfish tournaments so give me a call.

8-31-10 Awesome Redfishing!

I took the day off to do some fishing with my dad before the storm. It was a beautiful day light winds, sunny skies, and hot temps. Hard to believe we may have a major storm here in a few days. We had a great day on the water. The reds where on fire today. We landed somewhere around 25 fish with most of them over 30". Top waters and jigs done it for us today. Awesome day on the water!

8-30-10 Redfish Action Continues!!

The top water action has been great and we are catching good numbers of upper to over slot reds. We are coming up on two of the best months of the year. The fishing should go off! Redfish will be hitting anything that you though at them. Speckled Trout will start staging up for their fall pattern and the Spanish and King Mackerel should be on the next two months. I have dates still open in Sept. and Oct. so give me a call and don't miss out on the hot action.

Summer fishing report

Well it has been hot this summer, but the fishing has been too! The top water redfish action has been great. We have been catching fish over 30'' on top dawgs. Flounder, sheep head, black drum, and speckled trout have been providing action also. The big Spanish mackerel and a few nice kings are on the reefs and around the inlets. Big bull reds have moved into the Neuse River and the Tarpon there in good numbers. So don't let the heat kept you off the water. I have dates open so give me a call and get in on some hot summer time action.

Spring Report

It has been a while since a report. We have had some issue with the web site, but they have been straigten out. The fishing is really heating up as the water temps continue to raise. Redfish are getting very aggressive in the marsh. They are smashing top waters worked around the grass and oyster rocks. Bluefish are all over and hitting anything that gets in front of they. Spanish and King mackeral are starting to show up and their numbers should increase this month. The big news is cobia are starting to show up around Cape Lookout. I have heard of a 70lb caught this week. Flounder are also moving in around the ARs. Fishing is hot right now and will only be getting better this month. We have days open so give us a call and get in on some good fishing. I will be back soon with more reports soon.
